I am a film editor based in Barcelona. I’ve been writing and directing films since 2014 and eventually film editing has been my sole focus of study and work for the past 6 years. I have a Masters in Film Editing from FAMU (Prague, Czech Republic) and a Bachelors in Film from the National Institute of Design (Ahmedabad, India).
I have experience editing short fictions, documentaries, trailers as well as installation art video. I have also edited films in several languages. I work closely with directors to consult scripts, storyboards and provide feedback on dramaturgy during the pre-production stage so that the editing stage can run smoothly. I also have assisting experience with senior editors on large scale projects. I have a good grasp over editing softwares like Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere and Davinci Resolve and move between them depending on the needs of the project. I am constantly learning and updating my knowledge about these softwares.
Due to circumstances over the last couple of years, I have also worked remotely on projects, communicating with directors and other members of the team online. I believe it is also one of my strengths - editing remotely. These have been of great success and I am developing a system to make this process as efficient as possible by constantly improving the way I remotely edit and assist.
